Ally Osterhoff: Mr. Krull inspired me the most because he would always put his students first and showed them kindness and respect. He also made a 1st Hour math class fun and never failed to make me laugh. Gavin Oswald: Joe Linneman for showing anything is possible. Anoushka Pallekala: Mrs. Nancy Smith has been a big inspiration in my high school career. I first met her when I was a freshman, and I am grateful to say I have gotten to be her pupil all four years. She has always challenged me to be more vocal. She was able to see my potential to be a yearbook editor, despite my introverted tendencies. And for that, I am so thankful. If I had not been put in positions where I needed to exercise my opinion and my voice, I would have surely stayed a quiet and shy teenager. Trevor Peate: Mr. Balog has helped me learn to succeed with my passions. He has always supported what I have done and he continues to support me. Megan Peters: Chef Lawrence because Ive had her since freshman year and have taken every one of her classes. I wanted to take all the foods classes because Ive always been interested in the culinary ield. I have also got to know the rest of the FACS Department and love how all of them are all so close. Riley Philipp: Mr. Kreienkamp Pranavi Pitchyaiah : OC because of her dedication and continuous support for her students. Elizabeth Portscheller: Mrs. ODonnell is the best. Justin Prager: Joe Linneman Viansha Ram: Klawiter has inspired me the most because he treats everyone with sincerity and the utmost respect. Arjun Ray: Mrs. IF because she was an amazing teacher who pushed me to do good and she kept up with my handwriting for two years. Josh Reynolds: Boyd Manne. I have known him for a long time and he has helped me develop into the man I am today. Erin Reynolds: Mr. Landow has inspired me the most because he showed me that an english class can actually be fun if the teacher has the right attitude. His passion for the subject translated well into his teachings and it was never boring, even when we wrote essays every week. James Reynolds: Madame T because she is super cool and nice to everyone. Brooke Ring: Mr. DeBlasi has inspired me the most because he is always very welcoming and open to listening to things that are bothering you. He helped me through a lot. Bennett Robinson: Mr. Balog has inspired me to chase my dreams no matter how far away they might seem, and they get closer when you put in the time and dedication. Grant Roemerman: Mrs. Benner helped me to realize that I have creative potential beyond what I already knew and it really helped me develop as a person when I was at a low place. Aidan Rosen-McGinnis: Mr. Kreienkamp- relatable guy, great teacher and coach. Samuel Rubenstein: Mr. Steffens was a great teacher and even better coach. He always pushed me to do more and better. Rohith Ryali: From my freshman year until my senior year, Mr. Lofgrens class helped me explore my passions in the sciences and many of the activities we did helped me step out of my comfort zone. Mr. Lofgren is also an incredibly genial person and embodies what it means to be a great person. Mahmoud Safi: All the staff. Anna Savacool: Ms. Stephanie Hruby has inspired me the most by always caring about me as both as a student and a person. Ava Scaglione: Coach Schroeder. Shes taught me to always be driven towards my goals and to always make the correct decisions, and if you want something you need to work for it. Sophia Scheller: Smitty because she always pushes me to be a better person. Adam Schneider: Mr. DeBlasi, always made me laugh. Matt Schupp: All of them for having the patience to deal with us Qorian Shannon: Mrs. ODonnell did because she pushed me to do better in some of my classes. Aryaan Sheikh: My counselor Mrs. Hicks because she knew what I was capable of and I always try to put my best effort into stuff. Daniel Sherman: Mr. Klawiter and his unique and funny teaching style. Allison Sherrill: Mr. Klawiter, he always had a positive attitude and makes his classes so fun. Mia Simpson: Melissa Schroeder. She has pushed me to be my best not only in field hockey but in academics as well. She has been a vital part of my success here at Lafayette. Jacob Slater: Mr. Deken because he always found a way to make lectures fun and interesting. Delaney Sohn: Chef Lawrence was always smiling. Hayden Somach: Mrs. Indelicato-Faw because she taught me how to try and enjoy an in-class essay. Kate Sommer: Mrs. Fischer inspired me the most because she pushed me out of my comfort zone, and made me try new things. Paris Spencer: Mrs. Trott! She saw the best in me! Joshua Staub: Mr. Landows chipper attitude and unwavering enthusiasm for life and his subject inspired me to pursue my academics, minus the coffee addiction of course! Sydney Stinnett: Mr. Klawiter Sydney Taschler: Mr. Lofgren; he has a great relationship with his students, has a great sense of humor, and has taught me so much over the past two years. Megan Terry: Mrs. Lee (history) because she always has such a positive attitude and she was always so supportive of me. Megan Thompson: I would say my school mom, Mrs. ODonnell, has had a huge impact on me. She always has a smile on her face and will always be there for every student she meets whether they are a current or past student, whether she knows them or not, whether they can see each other in person or only email. She is exactly the kind of teacher I hope to be. She always made me feel loved, cherished, and protected. Erin Thorley: Whenever I was having a bad day or was feeling stressed out, I could go up to the library where Mrs. Lingafelter, Mrs. B-L, and Mrs. Van-I would always chat with me and help me igure my feelings out. I don't think it is possible for me to walk out of that room without feeling calmer, happier, or more inspired than when I entered. Emma Tobin: Mrs. Silvernail and Mr. Landow. Mrs. Silvernail is an amazing person to talk to and she always makes me feel important and welcome. Mr. Landow makes his classes so interesting and exciting and he genuinely wants his students to succeed. Hallie Unland: Mrs. ODonnell because she is never afraid to express herself and doesnt care what anybody else thinks. She has such a kind heart and knows how to make everyone feel comfortable. Casandra Urdi: Ms. Kempf was a huge inspiration to me as both a very supportive teacher and coach who always had my back. Kevin Vera: Mr. Sumner, Mr. Landwehr and Mr. Wier for helping me out in the broadcasting booth this fall at football games and making that opportunity a possibility for me. Esha Vij: The year I had with Ms. Marasigan was cut short because of COVID-19, nonetheless, she has impacted me for the rest of my life. When I had her for AP Chemistry, she was just as new to the subject as the rest of the students were. Even though she was juggling being head of the science department and leading multiple clubs she would spend hours at home researching the subject to find the easiest way to teach it to us. She was always going above and beyond to put her students first, and always checked in with me which I will forever appreciate. Tanner Wahl: Mr. Deken because the way he presented his teaching was so knowledgeable and put together. Hope Ware: Coach Meyer. She has constantly checked in on my emotional and physical state throughout my four years and continues to be one of my best supporters in all things: life, school, and sports. Landee Wasson: Ashley Lewis. I have been able to see first hand how strong she is. No matter what came her way, she has been able to persevere and take care of her students, her team, and her family. Maggie Watson: Mr. Ell has inspired me the most because during this really hard time he is there for every single one of his students, and always brightens our day. Kathryn Wenger: Mr. Gutowski always greets every student with a smile, and he truly cares about everyone as a person. He has supported me in everything inside and out of orchestra since freshman year. Dylan White: Mrs. ODonnell has been my biggest inspiration as she has helped guide me and helped me discover my want to be a high school teacher. Jayden Widanai: Mrs. Buscher wrote many personalized notes to students while she was here and it made everyone feel special. Im glad that she took the time to do all that for everyone in the band program because it really made us feel like she cared for all of us just that much more. Anna Willis: Mr. Choate because you can tell he truly cares about all of his students and is passionate about what he teaches. Savanna Wilson: Mrs. ODonnell. She is honestly my second mom, she always gives the best advice when it comes to tough situations that high school presents and is my favorite person to spend time with while Im at school. Mrs. ODonnell helped me through a really hard time in my life and was and is always there to talk whether it is in person, over email, or even Zoom during quarantine. She always inspires me to continue being my true self even though society makes it hard sometimes and always teaches me how to properly spread happiness. If I could be like anyone when I grow up I would want to be like her. Samuel Won: Mr. Landow, he was always excited to teach and really looked like he enjoyed what he did. Gavin Wood: Smitty inspires me to continue to work hard and give your best, even when it is difficult. Cassie Wulf: Mr. Beaver because he pushed me to go out of my comfort zone and motivated me to patent a product. He also made me realize I want to pursue business in the future. Josh Zhuchenko: Mr. Atkins because he produced mathematics to be fun and interesting to learn. He had a positive attitude which would transcribe onto myself for the rest of the day. Having conversations with him would make my day much easier as he was calm and not boring.
