Class of 2021 thanks staffers
Nathan Gabris: Ms. Hruby, because she was always so considerate and outgoing no matter the day. Pernell Garner: Coach Hicks inspired me. He put in the effort to truly get to know and understand me as a person. Hes always supported and encouraged me in pursuing my dreams and being the best version of myself. Sam Garrett: Mark McAllister has inspired me the most. He was so straightforward and helped me as a freshman, in IED and senior year, EDD. Nick Gauvreau: MSgt. Cugier. He taught me confidence and leadership abilities that I carry with me to this day, and hopefully well into the future. James Gay: Mr. Balog has inspired me due to his relentless passion for music and his non-stop efforts to ensure we have phenomenal music programs at Lafayette. Alexis Gibson: Evan Coonrod. Hes shown me there are a lot of hardships in life, but sometimes you just have to leave it at home. Neil Gilchrist: Mr. Beaver. Hes funny, smart and cool. He made me wanna get into business. Claire Goedeke: Ms. Hruby. I feel like she taught me the most and was always fun. Corren Grab: Mrs. Lewis. My high school years were pretty tough for me. She was there for me through all of my good and bad times. Mitchell Grant: Amy White because she is so nurturing towards her students and always has time to listen to you. Lily Gregory: Mr. Balog. I met him at my first high school band audition in 8th grade when I was really struggling with my anxiety. From that day, Mr. Balog was determined to help me grow not only as a musician but also a person in general. He was always my biggest supporter and helped me learn and grow through so much. I will never fully be able to thank him for all that he has done for me. Nayab Gulzar: The staff member who has inspired me the most is Ms. Natasha Fisher. She teaches Acting and Tech theatre classes and also directs the plays and musicals at school. She inspires me to be the best version of myself. Kylee Hansen: Mrs. Morningstar. Shes so sweet. Luke Hansen: McAllister, because Im heading into engineering and his personality and teaching style was memorable. Noah Hindi: Mr. Schneider. He kept class entertaining and was always helpful whenever I needed him. Coleman Hoener: Amy White. She has been there for me throughout my four years. She has inspired me to do my best and complete my work to my fullest ability. I can go to her for help on anything and advice as well. Mitchel Hoffman: Coach Hicks because he pushes me every day. Claire Hornberger: Mrs. Sakowski has inspired me the most. She is an art teacher, but her title should be much more than that. She is always there for kids to listen, offer advice or just give a comforting hug. Through watching her, I have learned that no matter what job you have, you can always help people and make a difference. Drake Hueckel: Mr. Steffens because I always seemingly found myself in his classes every year and I wouldnt ever change it. Sammy Husen: Mr. Landow, he always pushed us to be the best version of ourselves. Jack Jaeger: Mr. Dooley was definitely my biggest inspiration, as he exposed me to what I enjoy, and set the prime example of the kind of person I strive to be. Kylie Jansen: Mr. Krull, because he is so kind and funny and cares about all of his students so much. Christian Joiner: Dr. Mandy Lewis always helped me whenever I needed a hand or support. Luka Jovanovic: Mr. OGorman. Overall nice teacher and person. Emily Kaser: Brad Balog has always been an amazing band director and person. He always pushed us to be the best we can on and off the ield. Brandon Keipp: Joe Wier because he was my wrestling coach and constantly motivated us and pushed us hard to make sure we could reach our full potential. Preston Kellenberger: Mr. Long has taught me how to be a great leader and has helped me develop my biggest passion in life. He taught me to work hard and push myself to achieve my goals. Samreen Khan: Mrs. IF definitely inspired me the most, shes sarcastic and funny, and makes sure every student finds their place in the classroom. I'll always see her as my role model. Hailey Kimack: Mr. Witter definitely inspired me the most because he was the best teacher I had at Lafayette, in and outside of the classroom. Marissah Kirn: Mrs. Scheidenhelm because shes super smart and she will always be there for you. If there was a tough situation that you cant seem to get out of, she would try anything to fix it so we can continue on with our lives at school until graduation. If you needed help in class she would help you in any way she could. Kyle Klostermann: Both Mr. Steffens and Ms. Hruby because they have pushed me to be a successful student and a good person along with giving me advice to help me be the best person I can be. Savannah Kneemueller: Mrs. Sakowski because she is always pushing people to be open minded and their best. Will Knowling: Mr. Gutowski pushes me to get better at cello while running a fun classroom. Kris Kraev: Officer Mac. He showed me how to be a better person. John Kramer: Coach Manne has always been there for me. Noah Kronauge: Sean OConnor has inspired me the most because he is a kind and encouraging coach who always pushes students to be the best version of themselves. Eliza Lazzaretti: Mr. Landow because he has always encouraged me to grow and be the best version of myself. Vance Lear: Coach Hicks because when there were days I felt like I couldnt pick up a barbell to workout for any reason at all, he would remind me that he didnt give a crap and he wants to see me and the rest of his students be successful and hed push us. The weight room was the place where nothing else mattered and we could free our minds. Christian Lee: David Manne because he is a great coach/leader. Lauren Lefkowitz: Mr. DeBlasi has inspired me the most because he has taught me that I can pursue many things in my lifetime and still ultimately end up doing what I love. He also has taught me to go after my dreams and take more risks in life because it is important to experience new things in life. Lianna Littauer: Mr. DeBlasi inspired me the most because he was always positive no matter the situation. Alana Long: Mrs. ODonnell. She treats students like friends and always supports them. Olivia Lorenz: Mrs. ODonnell because she is such a happy positive person. Alexander Luter: Coach Hicks. Hes a great and understands the students. Nathaniel Mahone: Mrs. Fischer. She continuously shows a dedication to her students and the arts. Trina Makalintal: Although there are countless teachers who have taught me so much, I have been inspired the most by Ms. Zang. My first-ever B was in her AP U.S. Government class. I have never been challenged by a class the way I battled with AP Gov. She pushed me and taught me skills that extend far beyond the classroom; she taught me tenacity. I ended up earning a 5 on the AP Gov exam. She helped me believe I could do anything I set my mind to. Sneha Manikandan: Mr. Lofgren inspired me to always aim high and to reach those big goals. Julia Manning: Mrs. Overcash, thank you for always being there for me. Mr. Willard, thank you for always helping me and putting a smile on my face. Mrs. Hruby and Mrs. Mabie, thank you for being my second moms. Mr. Atkins, thank you for always laughing with me. Mr. Consolino, thank you for always making me feel welcome. I have had an amazing experience at LHS, and formed relationships with many faculty members, through the MANY tears, and lots of laughs, I wanted to thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. Sean Manno: Matt Landwehr, he taught me that being successful requires planning and hard work. Ashlyn Massey: Mrs. Kempf has inspired me because she has always pushed me to be the best student and person I can be. She always worked hard to make learning the material interesting and was also there for her students. Ive never been a fan of science but I had a great time in Ms. Kempfs class, and I was able to enjoy the class while I was also learning the material. Aaron Matthews: Coach Hicks because he just casually throws around my deadlift max for fun. Daniel Matus: Mr. Lofgren because he was always so organized and on top of things, also one of the smartest people Ive ever met. Izzy McSpadden: Mr. McAllisters classes inspired me to go into the field of engineering and major in biomedical engineering. Miracle Mitchell: Mrs. ODonnell has inspired me to work even harder. Mrs. Hagglund. I have learned so much about relationships in every aspect from her class. Josh Moellenhoff: Mr. Deken. I have always found his classes very engaging and he teaches with a lot of passion that makes classes that would usually be boring like AP Economics far more interesting. Madeline Mohlman: Madame Tamaroff because she is an awesome person. Brett Monroe: Mrs. White. She always cares so much for her students Olivia Moran: Mr. Klawiter has inspired me the most because he also went to Mizzou, and always found ways to make the boring parts of history feel bearable. This inspires me to make every part of life that may seem bad, more fun. Vishaanth Muddu: Mr. Sean OConnor has inspired me the most because he taught me to push through and be the best I can be and always strive to improve and learn. Taiyu Myers: Mr. Beaver is a fantastic teacher and actually made me want to go to school just so I can go to his class. He inspired me to think more out. King Nelson: Mrs. Fisher Evan OConnell: Mr. Sumner. He started out as my coach and worked into a new position and still continues to inspire me to this day. Brigid Ogle: I dont really think anyones inspired me the most- Mr. Landow, Mrs. Sakowski, Mrs. Briginets, Ms. Benner, Mrs. Bolton and Ms. Kempf have all been amazing and caring teachers that Ill miss going into college. Brook Ohlms: Coach Schroeder has inspired me the most because she gives her whole heart while teaching and coaching. For example, during my ield hockey season she had just got her wisdom teeth out but this did not stop her. The day after
